The Challenge: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple challenges such as New Year's resolutions or a 'Bucket List'. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.

#79: Artic hot tub

OK, well, this one is a bit of a cheat.

I only added it after the item was complete, but I'm using it anyway because I forgot to decide on something to add for the month of February.

Anyway, on our recent trip to Canada, I spent some time, surrounded by snow banks while drinking beer, in a hot tub with my MIL.

I highly recommend it. It's a bit cold running around in a bathing suit to get in, and then HOT when your cold body hits the water, but after that it's perfect. Although, I suppose if you don't like your MIL, maybe leave that part out. But, mine is awesome. So, it's all good.

#14: EP for 6 months

I decided that despite the benefits of breastmilk, that the time it took (between the actual pumping, washing parts and bottles, timing/planning activities so I could pump, actually feeding Sweet Pea) all just were too much and I was missing out on actually enjoying this time in my kids' lives.

So, I was tempted to call this a FAIL and maybe it is, but I prefer the term...revision.

#1: Move

Well, here's one that I can say is almost done. We'll count it as done, anyway. Half of our house is in boxes and we have a place to live in our new state. The actual move will be taking place in a couple of weeks.

We are really excited!

ETA: Move is now complete.
